Our mobile hard drive shredder is a shredding unit built into a 26-ton truck.
The plant takes up about half of the cargo space so we can immediately take all your computer waste for recycling with every data destruction job.
The electrical energy required for the mobile hard disk shredder – 100 Kw – is generated by the truck’s engine.
This meets the strict Euro 6 environmental standard.
This guarantees low noise and no emissions of smoke or particulate matter.

The shredding system operates in two steps.
During the first step, the hard disks are shredded into 22 millimeter-sized pieces.
In the second step, these pieces are further reduced to tiny 9-millimeter pieces.
The mobile hard disk shredder is the only one in Europe that can destroy hard disks and all other data carriers so fast and so finely.
Namely 1250 hard disks per hour and in a size of only 9 millimeters.
The entire installation is built so that you can follow the entire process live.
Transparencies and LED lighting have been installed in strategic places so that you can see the actual data destruction happening exactly.
The destruction of hard disks in the mobile hard disk shredder is a continuous process that is interrupted only by changing the collection tray for the shredded hard disks.
This occurs after about 1,000 harddisks.
The shredding plant is built so that we can destroy every conceivable data carrier and in every conceivable quantity.
We have now completed jobs with volumes between 1 and 60,000 units per job.
We have hard- and software on board with which we can scan barcodes of hard disks and other data carriers with lightning speed and accuracy.
After destroying the hard disks, we provide you with a printed and signed list of all serial numbers of the hard disks that have been destroyed.
For a small additional charge it is always possible to destroy data carriers for multiple customers or entities at your location.
You will then receive a separate certificate from us for each entity.

Occupational health and safety

Before we start the installation in the presence of our guests on board, we first give a safety instruction.
We provide all attendees with protective goggles and ear protection.
The mobile hard disk shredder more than meets the Dutch Arbo standards.
The loading area of the truck is the place where our customers can follow the destruction of the data carriers.
And therefore there is a safe and stable boarding ladder with which one can effortlessly enter the truck.

The shredder installation meets the standards NEN 1010, NEN 3140 and CE.
And the stairs to let our guests in?
That gets an annual inspection, just like the tailgate of the truck.
