We strongly recommend having the hard drive from your old copier destroyed. Many copiers contain hard drives with sensitive data. Be aware of this before you dispose of them for recycling.

Data destruction - The process

IT Recycling destroys confidential data on hard disks in copiers, both on site and at our facility in Veghel, always with a data destruction certificate.

You can arrange destruction of data in a multifunctional printer is easy online and get a confirmation when we will come by after making an appointment on-line.

Step 1: Schedule an appointment

Click on “Make an appointment” and choose “Copier.”

Step 2: On-site or pick-up

Choose on-site destruction or our pickup service.

Step 3: What do you want to destroy

Pass on what you want destroyed.

Step 4: Schedule an appointment

Make an appointment and you will receive a confirmation email with a date.

Step 5: Transportation

On the appointed date, our drivers will come by.

Step 6: Certification

Within 5 business days, you will receive an email with the list of serial numbers and the data destruction certificate.

We destroy hard disks in copiers for you

We can do this on-site: we’ll come to your location and remove the hard drives from the copiers. They’ll then be destroyed right in front of you, under your supervision. The actual destruction of the hard drives is then carried out using our mobile hard drive shredder. We’ll, of course, take the copiers with us for recycling afterward;
Destruction can also be done via pickup: we’ll come pick up the copiers from your location. They’ll be disassembled in our secure facility, and the hard drives will be destroyed using our stationary shredder.

Within 5 business days after our visit, you will receive the full documentation related to data destruction on the copiers. That is, the registration, liability statement, and a data destruction certificate. This set of documents demonstrates that the confidential data from the copiers has been permanently destroyed. Our certification is accepted by auditors for all ISO standards.
