IT recycling’s mobile hard disk destroyer was in action at the NorthC data center in Groningen last week.
There, miracle surveillance destroyed a 1600 hard drives on site.
These hard drives were in use at “Government Data Center,” or ODC.
So this is about critical IT infrastructure for the government.
We at IT recycling have recently been seeing more and more orders to destroy hard drives on site across all kinds of governments.
After we finished at ODC, we stopped by Eurofiber in the heart of Groningen.
There we picked up some old Cisco equipment for recycling but also some servers.
These servers contained hard disks which we also destroyed on location and together with the customer.
A busy day with almost 2000 hard disks that we destroyed.
But it did make for a fun little film.
