Effective March 1, 2026, IT Recycling is implementing a price adjustment on its IT recycling, data destruction and IT hardware disposal services. With this adjustment, we will continue to invest in quality, safety and certified processing of discarded IT equipment.
Why are IT recycling and data destruction prices changing?
IT Recycling has had a stable pricing policy in recent years. The last price adjustment was several years ago. In the meantime, costs within the sector for IT asset disposition (ITAD) and certified treatment have risen structurally in recent years. This is due in part to:
- Stricter laws and regulations around AVG, data security and environmental standards
- Higher requirements within ISO certification and WEEELABEX
- Investment in secure logistics and traceable processing
- Rising operating costs within transportation and recycling
As a specialized partner in IT hardware recycling in the Netherlands, we choose to continue to invest in demonstrable quality rather than compromise on safety or compliance. This means that an adjustment in prices is unfortunately necessary.
Specifically, what does the price adjustment mean?
- Current contracts remain in force in accordance with agreements made
- New orders from March 1, 2026 are subject to the adjusted rates
- Tenders retain their validity within the specified time period
