IT Recycling - How does it work?

Step 1: Make an appointment

Click “Make an appointment” and choose “Computer recycling.”

Step 2: Number of kilograms

Indicate whether it is more or less than 200 kg.
How much is 200Kgs?

Step 3: Schedule date

Make an appointment and you will receive a confirmation email with a pick-up date.

Step 4: Transportation

On the appointed day, our drivers will pick everything up.

Step 5: Certificate

Within 5 working days you will receive an environmental certificate, transport document and the zero invoice.

Printer recycling: IT Recycling provides disposal and recycling of printers.

Currently, smaller laser printers everywhere are being discarded and replaced by the larger multifunctionals. When they are replaced, they should be disposed of for responsible printer recycling. Many discarded copiers and multifunctionals are also collected by IT Recycling for copier recycling. We have a separate page for copier recycling click here. It is very important that the disposal and recycling of printers – copiers and multifunctionals – is done in an environmentally friendly way.

Getting printers disposed of puts you in motion very easily. You can arrange everything right away on this website, make an appointment on-line and then your old printers will be picked up for recycling at lightning speed. Collection of old printers is FREE, provided it is more than 200 pounds.

Laser printers contain plastics, a small amount of iron, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, a power supply and some low-grade circuit boards. Almost all raw materials incorporated into a laser printer can be reused. Therefore, depreciated printers are often exported as waste to Third World countries where they are often irresponsibly recycled.

Certification and legal requirements in printer recycling

Since July 2015, companies engaged in the collection and processing of computer waste have been required to certify themselves according to the WEEELABEX standard.

Of course, IT Recycling has this certification in-house. On the WEEELABEX website you can see which companies are now certified. A WEEELABEX certification is your guarantee that recycling is done according to the highest standards and within legal frameworks.
