Data destruction - The process

Destruction of network devices such as switches, routers, firewall and access point, is something that really needs to be done properly because the network information contained in these devices can fall into the wrong hands. Step 1: Making an appointment

Step 2: On-site or pick-up

Choose on-site destruction or our pickup service.

Step 3: What do you want to destroy:

Pass on what you want destroyed.

Step 4: Schedule an appointment

Make an appointment and you will receive a confirmation email with a date.

Step 5: Transportation

On the appointed date, our drivers will come by.

Step 6: Certification

Within 5 business days, you will receive an email with the list of serial numbers and the data destruction certificate.

Two good ways to destroy data network devices such as switches, routers, access points and firewalls:

Collection service: We pick them up at your place and destroy the Cisco equipment and other network devices at our warehouse. Read all about our data destruction pickup service here.
We come to your location with our mobile shredding truck. Then we take delivery of the spent Network devices and disassemble them. That is, we remove the circuit boards from their housings. Then, under your watchful eye, the printed circuit boards go into the shredder.
Because disassembling network devices and cisco for destruction is quite a labor-intensive job, the costs are higher.
We can also buy up Cisco or other network equipment, it must be at least a 10 devices and younger as 5 years. Click here to read all about Cisco buyout. When we buy up network equipment we perform certified data-wipe on the equipment. This overwrites all data and IP settings and returns them to factory settings.

After our data destruction on network devices, data retrieval is absolutely impossible.

Within 5 days of our visit, we will provide you with full documentation proving that the network equipment has been destroyed.
