Data destruction - The process

Step 1: Making an appointment

Click on “Make an appointment” and choose icon for “CD-DVD-TAPE”

Step 2: On-site or pick-up

Choose on-site destruction or our pickup service.

Step 3: What do you want to destroy

Pass on what you want destroyed

Step 4: Schedule an appointment

Make an appointment and you will receive a confirmation email with a date

Step 5: Transportation

On the appointed date, our drivers will come by.

Step 6: Certification

Within 5 business days, you will receive an email with the list of serial numbers and the data destruction certificate.

Destroying CDs: on site or we pick them up

On site: for absolute security, we can destroy CDs at your doorstep. With our mobile hard disk shredder, you shred CDs into unrecognizable pieces smaller than 9 millimeters in seconds! We do this under your watchful eye;
Collection and later destruction: we can also collect your CDs. They are then transported in specially sealed containers. Later, your CDs and DVDs are destroyed in our secure facility in Veghel with our permanent shredder.

In all cases, you will receive a complete set of documents proving that the DVDs and CDs were destroyed as they should have been and placing liability on IT Recycling. IT Recycling holds itself responsible for 500,000€ per incident for every data destruction, with no fine print. The certification you get with CD destruction is accepted by auditors of all ISO standards, controlling agencies and legal departments.

How to easily get your CDs destroyed

Make an appointment with us and we’ll come by. You can only make an appointment online. After making an appointment you will receive a confirmation email with a collection date.
