Then we come to you with our mobile hard disk destroyer. Together with you and under your watchful eye we then destroy the USB sticks. This is done with our ultra fine mobile shredder for new media. It is suitable for all small media like usb-sticks, memmory cards, simm cards, CF-card etc. With this shredder the small media are reduced to pieces of <1mm. That is, standard DIN 66399 H7. IT Recycling is the only one in the country with a mobile shredder with this standard.
First and foremost, we are convinced that only PHYSICAL destruction, that is, with a hard drive shredder, is completely secure. Admittedly, there are tools on the market for wiping USB sticks and small digital media. At the moment, we – as data destruction specialists in the Netherlands – do not yet know whether these tools really work adequately. Our tip: have it physically destroyed, and preferably on location and under customer supervision.
For small digital media with very small dimensions, we have a special very fine mobile shredder and it shreds at even 1mm. We are the only company in the Netherlands that can destroy mobile at 1mm. Our tip: Only use a very fine shredder, certainly smaller than 5mm.
