Data destruction - The process

Step 1: Making an appointment

Click on “Make an appointment” and choose the appropriate icon

Step 2: On-site or pick-up

Choose on-site destruction or our pickup service.

Step 3: What do you want to destroy

Pass on what you want destroyed.

Step 4: Schedule an appointment

Make an appointment and you will receive a confirmation email with a date.

Step 5: Transportation

On the appointed date, our drivers will come by.

Step 6: Certification

Within 5 business days, you will receive an email with the list of serial numbers and the data destruction certificate.

IT Recycling's solid data shredder

So data destruction we do ourselves, and no one else.

We have a high-capacity stationary shredder in our warehouse and we destroy your data carrier(s) with it. So the physical destruction of data carriers happens with us on a daily basis and in our own warehouse. The bottom line is that we never hand over data carriers before they have been shredded. At the end of each working day, we destroy all hard disks, tapes, telephones and other data carriers. Thus, no digital media containing customer data are ever retained. This greatly reduces the chance of a data breach due to calamities.

So when you have hard disks or other data carriers picked up for destruction, you can rest assured that the destruction will then actually take place within one business day, and within the walls of our company. Our customers receive a certificate with each data destruction and a list of serial numbers of the destroyed data carrier(s). Our customers only receive a certificate when it is absolutely certain that all data has actually been destroyed.

Also for destruction of return goods

With our fixed data shredder in Veghel, we can also destroy everything else imaginable. Think for example of destroying return goods and products that – for whatever reason – should no longer be allowed on the market. About our mobile hard disk shredder

Our mobile hard disk shredder, built into a 26-ton truck, destroys up to 1250 hard disks per hour in 9 mm pieces. It operates on electricity generated by the truck engine (100 kW) and meets the Euro 6 environmental standard. The result? Minimal noise and emissions. The process can be followed live thanks to transparencies and LED lighting. We can destroy all types and quantities of data carriers and provide a certificate with serial numbers upon completion. A separate certificate is available for multiple units on site at an additional cost.
